As I read this, it brought back memories of summer days when I visited some of these places. This blog makes you want to go out & see what these places are all about. These businesses are located fairly close, where you have a large variety to choose from. As the writter stated, this is our community & I agree we need to support the "black" businesses. Being a Parent today takes a lot work
I agree being a parent is very streeful and scary. I have tried to raise them up with good values and hope that they make good decisions. I took them to church while they were young and when they became teen they stop. I respest them did not do any thing for them to through back in my face. I expect the same from them. I have three children two girls and one boy. My daughters is in collage and my son is in and out of collage. I am not a grandparent yet so if they did not listen to any things eles they hear me tell them to notave children yound and get thier educiation. My youngest is 20, the middle is 21and my son the oldest is 25. I gave them more material things than time and they did not appreciate or understand why that happen. they said that I was very strict on them and as teen thy became rebellous.All I can do is pray for them and hope that they become responsible adult. It was very rewarding when they were young and I know it will be just as rewarding when they become mature adult. It takes some longer than other.

I believe that business and pleasure should not be mixed. anything could go wrong and then you cant get away from the situation because you have to see the person at work every day unless you find another job.

I agree with your blog eventhough I haven't had children yet. I still have younger relatives that I give advice to. Once we teach & talk to them they will have to earn our trust. I'd also advise others to pray for guidance as well.

In my opinion mr obama is doing a great job! people need to understand thats its not just upto him to make all the decisions, other people have a say so in it and thats why things are taking time. things just dont happen over night.

I agree with the writing. I am for and against it. Depending on what you want out of the relationship, I will not be able to relate on all levels mentally, but if you want sex then that will last only for a while. I feel that Amanda would be too experienced for Chris. She has had more life experiences that Chris. What about when he wants children and she does not want any more. I do not think it will work for the long term. Amanda should know better than to play with a young boy. The only thing she is going to get out of that relationship is pain.

I too am a fan of love. I love to see love but I think this is sometimes why people have problems with p.d.a. (public display of affection). I mean sure this couple were too engaged to notice how nosey you were but I have noticed people staring at couples and it makes them uncomfortable. but interesting blog still.

Mixing Business with Pleasure Remain professional at all times this is business. Business is business and pleasure is pleasure and never mix the two. I agree with that and I think it is right. I work with someone I have been knowing for over 20 years and she does not know how to separate business from friendship.We work in a commission setting and it depends on what you sell is how much money you make and what you bring home that week so every man for them self and I am good at what I do well she is not a hustler so therefore I make more money and I have people coming in and asking for me that is building up my customers. So it is not that hard for me any more to sell. well she gets mad and says that I am taking all the customers and I should let her in but when she is doing alright she does not let me in she will say I always get more customers than her. That is the reason she does that. I have tried to talk to her about that situation and tell her this is business and that we should keep it professional while we are at work but she continues to get mad when I am doing well. This has changed our relationship.
